DVD: Got Bands? Body Sculpt #1

A gym quality workout at home, without a collection of equipment! Bands are inexpensive and small, but can provide large improvements in strength, endurance and flexibility!

Bands integrate each muscle fiber in the extension and contraction phases of each movement. Appropriate for all fitness levels, they can be adjusted to achieve continuous workout progress. Bands travel well, so you never have to miss a workout!

In this program, Kira uses compound movements (squats, rows) along with traditional moves (leg lifts, shoulder presses) that actively engage the core muscles and abdominals. You get two in one: work the active muscle and the underlying core too!

Exercise combinations are designed to be time-efficient by working the core, abs, upper and lower body simultaneously. Kira’s simple reminders ensure you get the maximum from each exercise.

  • Music is not added to this workout. Customer feedback told us that most music selections were either annoying after a few workouts or more distracting than motivating. We suggest that you put on music that you enjoy!

The upper body workout has a total time of 48 minutes. This portion works everything from the hips up! Every exercise hits the abs and core!

  • Workout 2: Standing exercises with the ball
  • Workout 3: Exercises on the floor using the ball
